Data is separated per Nightscout server with an individual file system user, database and quota.
However, the API secret password is stored in plain text so that it can be written to the Nightscout my.env file.
Nightscout adjustments are possible through the Nightscout instance and through the ns.10be.de profile.
We do not share or pass on any data!!!

If someone wants to share their Nightscout data, they can do so via nightscoutfoundation.org.
Automatic backups of all databases are made every 6-8 hours and are kept for approximately 47 days depending on storage space.
The data sent to Nightscout is stored separately in a MongoDB database per Nightscout instance and can be downloaded in the profile.
The use of an instance is subject to a fee.

If an account overloads the server, we will intervene accordingly to protect the server.

All user data may be deleted, modified or temporarily stored by the operator if there is a reason to do so (when the user deletes their account, all data is automatically deleted).
If the operator modifies or deletes data, they will attempt to contact the affected person using the available data and inform them of the change.
If the operator was unable to reach or contact the affected person, the operator cannot be held liable for the resulting consequences.
In case of objections or concerns, the user can contact the operator at any time through the contact details mentioned above to resolve or clarify any misunderstandings.
The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. To the extent that personal data (e.g. name, address or email addresses) is collected on our pages, this is always done on a voluntary basis where possible. This data will not be passed on to third parties.
We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by email) may have security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible. (A certificate is offered for login (issued for a different domain), which encrypts data traffic via SSL).
The use of contact data published as part of the legal notice obligation by third parties for sending unsolicited advertising and information materials is hereby expressly prohibited. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam emails.
On some pages, so-called session cookies are set so that, for example, entered data can be written back into the form. These cookies are deleted after submission, when clicking on another page within the website, or when closing the browser. A random session ID is temporarily stored in the cookies.
Cookies can also be deleted prematurely and at any time in the browser itself, or their setting can be blocked!
Additionally, the standard logs of the Apache web server (IP, URL, browser, date...) are stored anonymized for approximately 7 days to generate statistics and are then automatically deleted.
In case of attacks (DDOS, SQL injection, RFI, LFI...) the log files with the attackers' IP addresses are forwarded to the police for filing a report.
When using the contact form, the IP address is included in the email so that we can file a report in case of threats or similar insults.

All data provided in the profile can be deleted by the user after logging in. This data is then automatically deleted shortly afterwards and after 3 days, when the server backups have been overwritten, it is no longer available and cannot be restored.
Google Tag Manager is used to optimize the site (where do users click, where can texts and forms be improved...). The privacy policies can be found here and consent can be revoked.
